At Coastal Kippford, you have access to your holiday home all year round. You can come on holiday any day of the year. But can your family and friends use your holiday home without you?
A Resounding YES to Family and Friends
Families and friends of our holiday home Owners are always welcome to stay at Coastal Kippford, and dogs are welcome too. Even the local pubs/restaurants are dog friendly in Kippford.
Coastal Kippford is a place for families to enjoy themselves in the relaxing countryside or on one of our many beaches along our stunning coastline.
If you have bought one of our holiday homes you are welcome to let family and friends use your lodge or caravan for a well-earned break. We will give them a warm welcome.
Something for Everyone
Your family and friends can enjoy great days out with lovely walks through the forest, down to the beach, and through the local village. We have something for everyone, whether it’s a quiet romantic break, a holiday exploring the local area, or more adventurous activities.
Local gardening events and garden centres are ideal for the green fingered. A pitstop in one of the many cafes for a cuppa and tasty treat is a must!
And then there’s the history, the castles themselves, the museums, the myths and legends, the lochs and the architecture. If there’s a historian amongst the family, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
With bike rides, wildlife reserves, soft play centres, and a host of quaint villages and amazing towns within a short distance, Coastal Kippford is at the gateway to some of South West Scotland’s most amazing days out.
Suppose you have a family member looking for a bit of adventure. In that case, Galloway Activity Centre is just a 45-minute drive away and full of fun water sports such as kayaking, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and powerboating.
Check out our local area guide for inspiration during your stay.
Family and Friends While on Site
When your family and friends spend time on site, they will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscaping and bounteous wildlife that runs around. The red squirrels, rabbits, and birds. They may even see a deer or two.
A relaxing day for many consists of a morning stroll, good book, and great company over a delicious meal. There’s a great choice of local restaurants, sit in and take away, or if you fancy cooking there’s nothing better than a BBQ on your verandah and watching the sun set.
For children we have a well-equipped toddlers play area (for age to about 7) and separate adventure play area for older children. Teenagers seem to melt into the woodlands (until hunger strikes!).
To ensure a stress free holiday all we ask is that you make your family and friends aware of our Park rules which are in place to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience for everyone on Park.
